Neal Smith
Harvey Silver plays Neal, a natural genius with street sensibility. The most introspective of the group, Neal always offers insight into difficult situations, though his siblings almost never listen. Silver's portrayal of a foster child in "One World" comes all-too-naturally for this Philadelphia native, who was raised in the foster care system and lived in a group home.
Silver first decided to become an actor at age 14, after seeing the film "Heart Condition," starring Denzel Washington, who has since become his idol. The following year, he landed his first professional acting role in a Philadelphia commercial. He has since moved on to guest-starring roles on "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Brooklyn South," "NYPD Blue," "New York Undercover," "The Watcher," and a lead role in the movie of the week "The Price of Love." He has also appeared in the films "Steel" with Shaquille O'Neal, and "The Last Resort" with Dean Stockwell.
In his free time, Silver enjoys gymnastics, martial arts and all sports, especially football. His birthday is April 12.
