 
Deeply-religious Pilar is the devoted mother of Antonio, Luis, Theresa, Miguel, and Paloma. Her husband, Martin Fitzgerald, mysteriously disappeared years ago, and she prayed every night he would return to the family.
For years, Pilar worked as the Crane family housekeeper, and was Ivy's closest confidante. When Ivy mistakenly believed that Theresa was responsible for one of her biggest secrets being revealed, Pilar and Ivy's friendship was irreparably damanged.
At present, Pilar is managing a health crisis, as she was recently diagnosed with a rare blood condition.
