 
Miguel is the youngest son of Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald and Martin Fitzgerald. After his father and eldest brother Antonio disappeared, his older brother Luis looked after Miguel and his siblings, hoping to eventually send Miguel to college.
At first, things seemed perfect after he met his soulmate Charity. They had even gotten to the alter. Unfortunately, her cousin Kay tricked him into sleeping with her and getting her pregnant.
After Charity ended their relationship and left town, Miguel left Harmony in search of her. Presently, Miguel is considering a return to Harmony.
