David Fielding
Zordon

David Fielding stars as Zordon on "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," the wise and powerful interdimensional being who serves as the mentor to the Power Rangers. Appearing as a floating head within a time warp, Zordon guides the team from the Command Center, offering strategic advice and direction as they defend Earth from Rita Repulsa and other threats. His calm authority and leadership make him a central figure in the Rangers’ ongoing mission.

Before joining "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," Fielding builds a background in theater and performance, developing his skills through stage work and acting training. His early career includes work in live performance and smaller screen projects, leading to his casting in the series. Although his role as Zordon is primarily voice and facial performance captured on video, it becomes his most widely recognized work.

In addition to his performance as Zordon, Fielding contributes to the unique presentation of the character, which combines filmed footage with special effects to create the illusion of a being existing outside normal space and time. His portrayal helps establish the tone and structure of the early series, as Zordon’s guidance frames many of the Rangers’ missions and decisions throughout the show’s initial seasons.

Outside of "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," Fielding continues working in acting and performance, including stage work and appearances connected to fan conventions and franchise events. His role as Zordon remains closely associated with his career, and he is recognized by audiences for bringing one of the franchise’s most iconic mentor figures to life. His work on the series contributes to a character that remains central to the identity of "Power Rangers."
