At the hospital, Fox keeps up his sick act while Kay openly admits she loves Miguel, and Julian quietly threatens her to remain loyal to Fox. Miguel talks with a fellow prisoner who urges him to accept his life sentence, but Miguel refuses to stop searching for the truth. Kay visits him and steals a private moment despite interference from a guard. Meanwhile, Fancy and Sheridan continue tearing at each other over Luis. Ethan breaks through a wall in Theresa's room and chases the blackmailer into a hidden tunnel, but the blackmailer escapes and leaves Theresa trapped with a bizarre half-man, half-woman figure.
