Miguel urges Kay to forget their dreams and choose the future Fox can provide, even though it breaks them both. The half-man, half-woman figure corners Theresa in a secret room and bitterly rails about never being wanted. Sheridan and Fancy both feel abandoned after Luis removes them from his approved visitors list. In prison, Luis is savagely beaten by a fellow inmate while a guard watches. Fancy shocks Sam by saying she wants to quit the police force. The blackmailer tightens the screws on Theresa, demanding she give up Ethan completely and devote herself to Jared if she wants Luis and Miguel spared.
