Luis mourns what he believes may be the loss of Marty and finally accepts that Alistair is alive and operating in Rome. Fancy starts to see the full truth about her grandfather and realizes he intends to destroy everyone except her. In Rome, Gwen arrives and strips Theresa of her remaining authority by confirming that Alistair staged the coma and retook control. Ethan realizes Theresa may now be in danger. Meanwhile, Whitney shoots Alistair but faints from shock, and when the others search, they discover the robe is empty and the chalice is gone.
