 
Fox is the son of Ivy Winthrop and Julian Crane. The prodigal “golden boy” is spoiled, willful and arrogant but also charming, clever and at times crafty—thus his nickname, “Fox.” The ladies love Fox and he loves to “love” them, but then he fell in love with Whitney Russell.
After a brief relationship with Theresa, Fox started dating a newly-single Whitney, only to be tricked into believing that her son with Chad was his. After finding out the truth, Fox found love with Kay Bennett...that is until Miguel came back to Harmony!
Fox started scheming to keep Kay and Miguel apart, even going so far as to hiring imposters to play Miguel and Charity, and faking a terminal illness. Fox was successful in getting Kay to marry him, but when she found out the truth, she ended the marriage. Fox has since turned his attention towards his sister's friend, Esme.
