Years ago, Alistair's wife Katherine left Harmony with Martin Fitzgerald, prompting Alistair to fake her death. Eventually, Alistair married Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald and adopted her son, Little Ethan.
Alistair then lured several Harmony residents to Rome in an attempt to steal a Holy Chalice that would give him the “power of God,” but he was thwarted and appeared to be killed in a train explosion. A year later, however, he was revealed to be alive and well.
