Sheridan refuses to abandon Vincent, even with Spike threatening to shoot them both, and their desperate escape sends the car spinning into a crash. At the same time, Kay keeps using magic to make her wedding perfect despite Tabitha's insistence that love, not witchcraft, is what matters. The spells backfire, covering Kay in grotesque warts. At the hospital, Ethan arrives unconscious and critically ill, with Theresa praying outside as alarms blare and the crash cart is rushed in. Gwen remains nearby, unable to deny that she still loves him despite everything.
