Father Lonigan pleads with Pretty not to add more pain to what Luis and Fancy are already suffering. At the prison, just as Luis receives the lethal injection, Eve bursts in and stops the execution by declaring that Luis is innocent. Shock ripples through everyone when Eve reveals that her own son, Vincent, committed the murders and framed Luis. Simone is devastated to hear that the man she blamed was innocent. Meanwhile, Theresa chooses not to press charges against Sheridan yet, feeling the day has already brought enough grief and destruction.
