Miguel thinks an earthquake is striking and rushes to protect Maria, only to realize the Bennett home is untouched and the chaos is centered on Kay. Tabitha stops the quake and warns Kay never to use magic alone, but Kay immediately ignores her and casts another spell that strips Miguel of his clothes. Meanwhile, Spike has drugged Jessica and prepares to bury her alive, leaving her only a flashlight underground. Fancy and Sheridan race to the doctor who processed the blackmailer's blood work and arrive just as the blackmailer tries to kill him, leaving Sheridan horrified by what she finds.
