Valerie calls Chad for help, terrified Vincent is outside her door, and Chad sneaks away from Whitney to rescue her. Whitney ignores Chad's warning and visits Theresa anyway. At the hospital, Fox demands Julian ensure he keeps receiving a placebo, while Kay confesses to Jared that she loves Miguel and wants to be with him. Theresa, still entangled with Ethan, continues her affair and begins thinking that going public with him might finally help them fight the blackmailer. Jared, unaware she is still betraying him, keeps trying to be the man she needs.
