Julian questions why Theresa would marry Jared if she truly loved Ethan, while Ethan compares her to Alistair and suspects hidden motives. Jared, though sick, remains happy to marry Theresa, while the blackmailer insists the wedding happen within the hour. Fancy accuses Sheridan of trying to steal Luis, but Sheridan denies it and Luis reassures Fancy nothing is happening, even as Sheridan cruelly brings up Pretty and piques his curiosity. Eve forbids Jared from marrying Theresa because of his condition, yet Theresa pushes forward anyway, driven by blackmail and fear.
