Chad tells his male lover that their relationship is over and insists that sex with men does not make him gay. At Rae's funeral, Simone mourns deeply and experiences a spiritual visit from Rae that brings a little comfort. Sheridan slaps Fancy and cruelly tells her she can never give Luis the kind of love he needs. Meanwhile, Ethan, Whitney, and Luis are all blindsided when Theresa suddenly announces she is engaged to Jared again. Later, alone with Whitney, Theresa admits she is terrified and burdened by the secret she still cannot reveal.
