Miguel kisses Kay in front of Fox's hospital bed, sending Fox's heart rate soaring and alarms blaring across the room. Julian explodes and blames Miguel for endangering his son yet again. Jared asks Whitney how to win Theresa back, but she warns him Ethan and Theresa may soon reunite. Ethan and Theresa try talking honestly about being together, but another interruption stops her from finally saying everything. Fancy keeps searching for the truth about her attack, and Luis persuades Sam to let him help investigate as long as he works with another officer to avoid a conflict of interest.
