Whitney tells Ethan he is finally free to be with Theresa just as Jared renews his engagement to Theresa and pours out his heart. Ethan then tells Theresa he is free as well, and she admits the same, though everything remains unresolved. At the hospital, Kay chooses Fox over Miguel for the moment, but later confesses that Miguel still holds her heart. Fancy struggles with her trauma while Luis reassures her of his love and vows to find the real attacker. Meanwhile, Chad lies to Whitney about his whereabouts so he can continue spending time with his lover.
