Luis is furious when Paloma announces she wants to join the police force. Across town, Theresa mistakes Jared for an intruder and smashes a vase over his head, only for the two to reconcile and later share a dance. Sheridan is relieved Chris does not seem tied to Alistair, though Spike continues pressuring him in secret. At the station, Luis runs a training class for new recruits but pointedly excludes Fancy and Paloma, triggering an argument about whether he takes them seriously. Sheridan overhears and senses real chemistry between Luis and Fancy.
