Chad and the others try to stop the chalice's inscription from being revealed, but Alistair pulls a gun, reignites the flames, and begins reading from it, unleashing a violent storm and earthquake. Whitney is horrified when he finally reveals his true identity. Elsewhere in Rome, Noah escapes and battles Lena while Spike drags Jessica away. Lightning kills Lena on a rooftop, and Maya agrees to help Noah save Jessica before slipping during the quake. In a basement, Spike breaks down and confesses everything as Jessica secretly reaches for his gun.
