Paloma, Jessica, and Simone descend into a mysterious tunnel and discover eerie murals depicting forbidden love and betrayal, triggering disturbing flashes for Jessica. Simone pushes them to keep going, determined to solve the mystery. Meanwhile, Theresa and Ethan argue once more over their relationship, with Theresa claiming fate has brought them to Rome and Ethan denying it. At the convent, Whitney continues obsessively praying and punishing herself. Elsewhere, Fancy and Noah meet an art expert who believes the chalice symbols are connected to an ancient order, while Beth, now disguised, watches Fancy and prepares to strike.
