 
Whitney is the eldest daughter of Eve and TC Russell. Originally thought to be destined for tennis stardom, Whitney decided to become a singer instead which infuriated her father.
Whitney eventually found love with Chad Harris, the mysterious music producer that showed up in Harmony, despite an initially cold reception and her sister Simone's belief that Chad was her boyfriend. She moved to Los Angeles with Chad in the summer of 2003 but quickly moved back to Harmony after being shot by a woman who was revealed to be Chad's wife.
Eventually, Whitney discovered that Fox Crane was in love with her. When she learned that Chad was her half-brother, and that she was pregnant by him, she initially tried to pass her baby off as Fox's after starting a relationship with him. She eventually joined a convent.
