Kevin Carlson co-created "The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth" and also stars as Timmy, the adventurous young tooth at the center of the series. Working alongside Dina Fraboni and James Murray, Carlson helps shape the show’s mix of puppetry, music, and family storytelling, while also performing the title character and contributing creatively behind the scenes. His work on the series makes him one of the key figures most closely associated with the "Timmy the Tooth" franchise.
Before "Timmy the Tooth," Carlson builds a career as a puppeteer and performer in children’s and family entertainment. His puppetry credits include work on "Pee-wee’s Playhouse," where he performs characters including Clockey, Floorey, and Conky, helping establish him as a versatile presence in puppet-based television.
In addition to co-creating and performing in "The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth," Carlson also contributes as a writer on the series. The production runs as a direct-to-video musical puppet series for children, with ten episodes released in 1994 and 1995, and Carlson remains central to both its performance and creative identity.
Outside of "Timmy the Tooth," Carlson continues working in puppetry and family programming. His later credits include performing Mr. Potato Head on "The Mr. Potato Head Show" and Warehouse Mouse on "Imagination Movers," reflecting a career that spans multiple well-known children’s productions. His work on "Timmy the Tooth" remains one of his signature achievements as both a creator and performer.
