Ike Barinholtz stars as Sal Saperstein, the vice president of production at Continental Studios and a close friend and advisor to the studio’s new head on "The Studio."
Before joining "The Studio," Barinholtz builds a long career in comedy and acting, beginning with ensemble work on sketch shows such as "MADtv" and moving into television and film roles that showcase his comedic timing and character work. His early television work gives him experience working with large casts and live audiences prior to his role in the satirical Hollywood comedy.
Barinholtz also appears in feature films, including comedies such as "Neighbors" and other ensemble projects that combine humor with character‑driven storytelling. These roles help him develop a range that spans both television and theatrical comedy prior to his work on the Apple TV+ series.
In addition to his screen performances, Barinholtz writes and develops comedy material, contributing to projects behind the camera as well as in front of it. His experience in collaborative creative environments adds depth to his contributions on "The Studio."
