Emmy Award-nominated actress Andrea Evans plays the recurring role of Rebecca Hotchkiss Crane, the manipulative, rapacious social climber who has an insatiable appetite for money and men.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Evans began acting with a job as an extra in Brian De Palma's "The Fury," which ultimately became a featured role. She was soon cast in the television mini-series "The Awakening Land" and her performance garnered the attention of ABC casting executives, which led to her long-term contract role as Tina Clayton on "One Life to Live." Evans' other notable daytime roles include Tawny on "The Bold and the Beautiful," and Patty Williams Abbott on "The Young and the Restless."
Additionally, Evans' credits include a recurring role on "Capitol News" and the films "Opposite Sex," "Low Down Dirty Shame," "Ice Cream Man" and "Ghostwriter."
Evans' charitable interests include the City of Hope, for which she has been the Celebrity Ambassador for their Walks of Hope Against Breast Cancer for the sixth consecutive year, and a number of animal rights organizations. She is also a regular columnist for Healthy Cooking magazine contributing her own vegetarian recipes.
Evans and her husband Steve became new parents to daughter Kylie Lyn on Mother's Day 2004. Evans' hobbies include cooking, gardening, working out and she is an ardent baseball fan. She was born on June 18.
