Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Angie Harmon has spent most of her life in front of a camera. Both of her parents were models and she became one as well when she was just a baby. At 15, Harmon beat out 63,000 entrants to win "Seventeen" magazine's cover model contest.
After graduating high school, Harmon traveled between New York and Los Angeles, and began studying acting. She made her film debut in director John Duigan's independent film "Lawn Dogs" which was screened at both the Toronto and Sundance Film Festivals. Harmon made her network television series debut starring opposite Eric Roberts for one season as the rookie member of the FBI's elite crime unit on "C-16."
Harmon recently filmed the upcoming feature "Good Advice," starring alongside Charlie Sheen, Denise Richards, Jon Lovitz and Rosanna Arquette. She also recently signed on as the new face and voice of Neutrogena.
An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Harmon is also a nature lover with dreams of establishing a children's ranch in West Texas to give underprivileged city youth an outdoor experience. During the "Law & Order" production season, she resides in New York City. Harmon's birthday is August 10.
