Mark Salling is a classically trained pianist, who also plays the guitar, bass and drums. He continues to keep himself active by writing new songs and performing original music.
Prior to starring on "Glee," Salling appeared in national commercials and starred in films, including "Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering" opposite Naomi Watts and Karen Black. He also guest-starred on such hit shows as "Walker, Texas Ranger" with Chuck Norris.
When not on set, Salling spends his time with friends, working out, playing frisbee golf and advancing his unusual passion for ornithology.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.
