Jack McBrayer plays Kenneth, the over-eager NBC page – a highly-sought-after entry level position with the network on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning "30 Rock," a workplace comedy where the workplace exists behind-the-scenes of a live variety show.
McBrayer, along with the "30 Rock" cast, won a 2009 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. He was also nominated for a 2008 Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class, Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Programs, for his work on NBC.com's "Kenneth the Web Page" feature.
McBrayer has performed at the sketch comedy epicenters of three cities beginning with Second City and ImprovOlympic in Chicago, the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York as well as the UCB and IO outposts in Los Angeles. He has made numerous appearances in sketches on "Late Night with Conan O’Brien" and in 2009 appeared on "Saturday Night Live" on stage with Alec Baldwin. He will next be heard as one of the lead voices in "Despicable Me" opposite Steve Carrell, Danny McBride, Kristen Wiig and Julie Andrews for Universal Pictures in July 2010 in 3D. He also starred in Judd Apatow’s "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," directed by Nicholas Stoller, opposite Jason Segel, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd and Kristen Bell, for Universal Pictures. His other film credits include "Walk Hard" "Thousand Words" and "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby."
