SERIES FINALE -- A DEVASTATING LOSS OCCURS -- Clay (Dylan Minnette) learns Justin (Brandon Flynn) has HIV/AIDS, pneumonia, and fungal meningitis after collapsing at prom. Jessica (Alisha Boe), Alex (Miles Heizer), Charlie, and Zach (Ross Butler) visit the hospital as Justin declines, while Winston confronts Alex about Bryce's death. Justin dies with Clay and the Jensens beside him, and his funeral devastates the group. Later, Clay breaks through in therapy with Dr. Ellman (Gary Sinise), gives the graduation speech, Hannah's tapes are buried, and Tony (Christian Navarro) drives him toward college. Grace Saif, Justin Prentice, Devin Druid, Amy Hargreaves, Tyler Barnhardt, Jan Luis Castellanos, Brenda Strong, Timothy Granaderos, Mark Pellegrino, and Deaken Bluman also star.
