The holiday season is upon us and the stars of "Passions" have special wishes for you, their treasured fans. When asked to reflect upon the past year, the coming year, or just extend their holiday greetings, this is what they had to say...
McKENZIE WESTMORE (Sheridan):
I just want to wish all of you wonderful fans a blessed holiday! With what happened on and after September 11th, we should all be especially thankful to God for the blessings that He grants us each day. My heart goes out to those who have lost a loved one and I ask that everyone continue to pray for them and our beautiful country. I love you all and God Bless!
DONN SWABY (Chad):
I want to wish all the fans a very healthy and happy holiday season. It's a time to be spent with those you cherish, a time to be thankful for what you have. I myself am looking forward to spending time with my family, who I only see once a year. I feel very fortunate that there are people in the world who care about me and enrich me.
JUSTIN CARROLL (David):
I would like to present this prayer from St. Francis of Assisi: "Lord make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to Be consoled as to console, To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life."
CHRYSTEE PHARRIS (Simone):
This has been a great year-everything I've dreamed of-from the fans, to being on the show, to being able to help my family, to seeing how proud my family is of me. It's been a real joy and there's no way this could have happened without "Passions" or the fans. My advice for everyone is to believe in yourself-there will always be storms but you have to keep pushing and know that eventually you will succeed. Also, family is very important. Regardless of what's happened in the past-always forgive because you never know what will happen. Be forgiving and loving. Love is patient and kind and it does not envy. Have a safe and blessed holiday.
DEANNA WRIGHT (Kay):
Happy holidays and thanks for seeing us through one more year. Best wishes for the New Year! God bless you all.
KIM JOHNSTON ULRICH (Ivy):
In this frantic and frenetic season, I hope we can all take a moment to stop and take a breath and count our blessings. I count all of our "Passions" fans as one of my blessings. I hope you all have a happy, healthy holiday.
BEN MASTERS (Julian):
During these trying times that we find ourselves in, we all have to remember to let the people we love know how we feel about them. Be thankful for what we have and that we're alive. And let's all keep a place in our hearts for all the people who are making enormous sacrifices at this time so we can continue to live our lives. "And to all, a good night."
TRACEY ROSS (Eve):
I pray God will give peace and comfort on Christmas to all the family members of those who perished. And to all the men and women in uniform, God bless you and thank you so much.
LINDSAY KORMAN (Theresa):
In spite of everything that's happened the last year, I think it was a wake up call to try to enjoy being "in the moment." Every moment is precious. When we get caught up in things, if there's something we can do to inspire us to stay in the present, then that's what we need to focus our energies on. We need to be here, be grateful to everyone, and obviously, be grateful to God. We need to work hard and be the best person we can.
DANA SPARKS (Grace):
The Holidays are here, again. Already. Somehow, they seem less important and more important. The thing to do is celebrate. Celebrate everyday. Good health & happiness to you and those you love.
GALEN GERING (Luis):
Big moments like what happened on September 11 change our lives, but unfortunately, only temporarily. I think it's important to keep the lessons with us longer and remember what's important. You never know when will be your last day. Treat people you love with respect. And even people you don't know-treat them with respect too. After the tragedy, it was unbelievable the way people came together--hopefully people can take that into the next year. I can still remember the day when everyone was supposed to light a candle. It was unbelievable. The streets were full of people. Everyone was celebrating life. It was a defining moment in my life. I've never seen that kind of unity. That made everyone take a step back and say it's not just about me-it's about the people I care about. We're all blessed to have our health and our families.
BROOK KERR (Whitney):
Happy holidays to everyone. This season we need to remember that life is a gift from God. We should all celebrate it and not just be satisfied with where we are, but always strive for more. There's always a possibility for more in our lives-so celebrate life and do with it what we can. God Bless everyone.
JOSH RYAN EVANS (Timmy):
"If you look back at your year and you haven't had laughter and tears, you've wasted your time." (from Ally McBeal) Here's wishing you a year of laughter and tears.
