Gwen asks Gertrude to help with the recommitment ceremony, forcing Theresa to endure the agony of assisting with Ethan’s wedding plans. Alone, she fantasizes about marrying Ethan herself and eliminating Gwen, but hides her emotions when Gwen returns. Ethan later admits to Gertrude that he would go back to Theresa if she returned, yet feels trapped by his marriage. Meanwhile, Juanita arrives in Harmony in disguise, and Tabitha’s efforts to protect the town fail against her.
