Julian panics when Viki traps him with a knife, but Sam and the others burst in before she can finish him off. Julian then publicly reveals that Eve botched his surgery, horrifying everyone. Vincent covers for himself by blaming medical confusion and a missing anesthesiologist, allowing Viki to slip away unnoticed. Elsewhere, Gwen keeps pressuring Ethan to send Little Ethan to boarding school, but Theresa, still disguised as Gertrude, quietly works against her. Ethan ultimately changes his mind and decides Little Ethan should stay.
