Noah stages a dramatic attempt to win Paloma back by climbing scaffolding, but disaster strikes when the ropes snap and the structure begins to collapse. Paloma tries to help despite the danger, while Kay watches the scene in Tabitha’s magic bowl. The demon elf roots for Miguel’s death and tries to harm Noah as well, but Kay refuses to intervene magically. In Mexico, Theresa, disoriented and ashore, believes she may be dead, while Ethan continues praying for her and Pilar blames Gwen.
