Eve awakens to find Valerie holding a pillow over her face, then hears Valerie insist she is separate from Vincent despite Eve’s confusion. Valerie reveals she is preparing to meet Julian, the father Eve gave up, and when Julian arrives, he embraces Valerie before she faints. Afraid another doctor will expose her condition, Valerie pressures Julian to let Eve recover at home. Meanwhile, Gwen celebrates still being married to Ethan, and Viki watches Ethan obsessively while fantasizing about killing him.
