Theresa wrestles with the impossible problem of saving Jonathan without exposing Little Ethan's paternity and triggering Rebecca's threats against Pilar's family. Ethan overhears enough of her conversation with Pilar to feel hurt and to conclude she cares more about side issues than about Jonathan's life. Gwen, nearly delusional, still insists Jonathan will recover without a transplant and refuses to risk Ethan's leaving her. Elsewhere, Luis and Pretty continue having sex to earn their freedom from Alistair, while Fancy watches in misery and believes Luis has betrayed her completely.
