Theresa struggles with the crushing realization that Pilar's secret may keep Ethan beyond her reach forever. Gwen, drowning in guilt and fear, finally agrees to allow treatment for Jonathan. Ethan tells Pilar he wishes Little Ethan were his son, and the guilt nearly destroys her. Little Ethan is devastated when Ethan cannot attend his school's Sports Day because Jonathan is still in danger. Theresa asks Gwen to let Ethan go with Little Ethan instead, but Gwen erupts and refuses. At the same time, Eve spirals into drug abuse just before a hospital review board meeting.
