Valerie wants a restraining order, though Chad keeps trying to contain the fallout for his own reasons. Luis and Miguel absorb their brutal sentences as Ethan vows to appeal and Kay and Theresa react in anguish. Sheridan runs to Luis only to be rejected, while Chris leaves with James. Paloma and Noah watch television together and quietly grow closer as the tragedy around them deepens. Everyone is forced to confront how permanent the damage may be becoming.
