Chad sits guiltily beside Whitney and pretends he is ready to change, while Ethan secretly visits Theresa and the two make love again under the blackmailer's watchful eye. The blackmailer retaliates by threatening Judge Reilly, and soon Miguel's trial date is moved up, which pleases Fox and terrifies Kay. Miguel surprises Kay with breakfast in bed, only to find Fox there instead. Fox pushes Judge Reilly to accelerate the case, while Theresa is warned again that her selfishness will destroy Luis and Miguel if she does not obey every demand placed on her.
