Noah creates an elaborate romantic evening for Paloma, recreating a Mexican fantasy to delight her. At the same time, Theresa, under enormous pressure, accepts that she must marry Jared to save Luis and Miguel. The district attorney moves ahead with the death penalty against Luis, heightening everyone's desperation. Ethan begs Theresa not to surrender to the blackmail, while Valerie pressures Fancy to lie for Luis to save his life. Noah and Paloma's romance deepens, but the blackmailer's hold over Theresa continues to tighten, threatening to destroy any hope of freedom for her.
