Fox, frustrated by the treatment's side effects, snaps at the nurse and then apologizes to Kay, blaming muscle spasms. Kay questions him again about Miguel's accusations, but Fox lies and keeps her close. Miguel and Kay share a kiss despite Pilar warning him to leave Fox alone if he is truly dying. Fancy becomes more convinced Sheridan is with Luis, while Chris worries Sheridan still loves him but cannot let go of Luis. Theresa abruptly proposes a rushed marriage to Jared under the blackmailer's orders, and Whitney later accepts a dinner invitation from Vincent, unaware he is trying to unsettle Chad.
