Fox agrees to keep up appearances while delaying treatment, determined to get back to Kay before Miguel can sway her further. Miguel and Kay nearly make love at Tabitha's house, but Fox arrives just in time to stop things. Theresa ignores Whitney's warnings and goes to meet the blackmailer alone, convinced she can pay this person off and protect everything she values. At the B&B, gifts are sent to Luis and Fancy as part of another sinister setup, and the perpetrator drugs Luis's tea before trying to poison Fancy with fumes. Elsewhere, Chris questions Sheridan about the bruises on her arm and suspects her jealousy is turning dangerous.
