Kay returns Fox's ring and refuses to marry him if he lied, but a respected doctor suddenly arrives and backs up Fox's illness story, throwing everything into confusion again. Fancy hunts for proof of her attack and begins suspecting Sheridan, while Paloma urges Luis to stop treating Sheridan like an innocent victim. Whitney asks Theresa whether she will accept Jared if he passes the polygraph, but Theresa cannot answer honestly. Gwen grows increasingly worried that Ethan remains fixated on Theresa and Jared instead of his own marriage, while every relationship around them becomes even more strained.
