Whitney finally agrees to marry Chad, bringing him immense relief even as his secrets remain unresolved. Ethan, thrilled that J.T. claims to have dirt on Jared, is infuriated when he receives only an empty envelope and realizes he is being played again. He pays off J.T.'s back taxes to force cooperation. Fox's fake phone call successfully convinces Kay that Miguel lied to her, while the real Miguel is elsewhere trying to get Charity to help fix things. During the peeping tom stakeout, Luis finds Burt tied up and rushes into danger, calling desperately for Fancy.
