Luis fights to keep Fancy conscious in the mineshaft while Sheridan watches the rescue in misery. Paloma tells Sheridan she deserves to be with Luis and not stay with Chris out of loyalty to James. Sam and Chris lower a rescue cable, but the pulley jams and snaps, sending Luis and Fancy into a terrifying plunge before workers halt them just in time. After they are brought to safety, Luis accuses Chris of causing the accident. Meanwhile, Julian confronts Theresa over money and Little Ethan's custody, and she vows to fight him.
