Luis and Fancy investigate Phyllis's murder at Sheridan's cottage, and Sheridan, still shaken, describes finding the maid strangled on the floor. Luis increasingly suspects Chris, knowing Phyllis likely recognized her killer. On the pier, Theresa orders J.T. to leave town, but he questions why she is suddenly desperate to make him disappear. At home, Sam confides to Ivy how much Jessica's situation is hurting him, and Ivy quickly pivots to pushing marriage. Pilar encourages Kay to follow her heart, but Fox lashes out when Miguel defends his mother, adding more friction to the already explosive love triangle.
