Spike grows more menacing when Simone and Paloma question Jessica's injuries, but the women keep digging and uncover police reports that may help prove Jessica's innocence in the deaths Spike is using to control her. Sheridan celebrates when a judge approves James's adoption, giving her and Chris a moment of happiness. Elsewhere, Luis and Fancy's relationship deepens with a kiss after training, while Martin and Katherine continue facing the wreckage of their family choices. The day ends with hope for some and growing danger for others as Spike tightens his grip on Jessica.
