Eve finally ends things with Julian after he again degrades her and blames her for everything that went wrong between them. Valerie, meanwhile, hints to Jared that she is involved with someone else at work. Whitney becomes convinced Chad is cheating and suspects Valerie may be the other woman, while Chad checks into a motel for a secret encounter. At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Sheridan tells Luis their future is over, leaving him devastated. Back at the cottage, Chris celebrates because Sheridan's adoption papers for James have arrived and only need her signature.
