Miguel insists he can win Kay because she values love over wealth, while Fox counters by promising a luxurious future with maids and nannies, which only makes Kay recoil. Miguel confesses his love and urges Kay to break the engagement. Endora openly sides with Fox, telling Maria that Kay belongs with him. Elsewhere, Ethan surprises Theresa at Crane, and though she tries rejecting him, they ultimately surrender to passion again. Just as Miguel kisses Kay, Fox approaches, setting the stage for yet another painful confrontation.
