Spike uses stolen money to buy Jessica gifts, and she mistakes his manipulations for love. Simone and Paloma warn her not to trust him. At the inn, Tabitha freezes Miguel just as Kay tries seducing him, preventing Fox from catching them in the act. Ethan, rattled by seeing Jared and Theresa together, decides to sue Crane Industries. Jared leaves Theresa alone for candles during a hotel blackout and is knocked out, while Gwen waits for Ethan. Drunk and confused, Ethan mistakes Theresa for Gwen, and the two end up making love in the wrong room.
