Sheridan worries that the stolen alarm code endangers everyone at the mansion and convinces Theresa to give Fancy her old job while offering Chris a position at Crane Industries. Chris refuses, determined to remain independent. Ethan dreams about Theresa and later lies to Gwen. Pilar, still fragile, urges Ethan to leave Gwen and be with Theresa and the children. Theresa offers Jared an executive job at Crane, insisting she is not using him to replace Ethan, though even he suspects otherwise. Luis remains focused on Spike, increasingly convinced Chris is hiding something.
