Luis locks Fancy in a jail cell and keeps her company while he studies for his detective exam, only to be surprised when she knows nearly all the answers and turns their session into a playful game. On the baseball field, Theresa is struck in the head and collapses, prompting intense concern from Ethan that shocks everyone around him. Once Theresa recovers, Tabitha ends up umpiring after the original umpire disappears. Elsewhere, Kay flirts openly with Miguel while Fox watches, and the tension finally explodes into a fight between the two men.
